Bonus: The awesome voice recognition feature is also available for when items are out of reach in the back of the fridge and there’s no space to Snap, or you just have a lot of ingredients that you can say and add to the list fast.

2. See what you can cook with what you have.

Cook with as little as 2 ingredients. After recognizing the ingredients, it’s time to browse through all those nice recipes. The environmentally friendly Scoodit App shows you what you can cook without having to go to the store every time to get more products, this way avoiding a great amount of waste. From basic Just Need to Feed Myself to Gourmet Recipes for foodies.

3. Scoodit is not only fun and practical, but also a way to easily improve your health

Getting people to embrace the idea that their diet affects their health is one thing, but getting them to change deeply embedded routines is another story altogether. Changing bad dietary habits and is finally possible because you can do it unknowingly, so easy and fun with Scoodit. You’ll soon find that not only are you healthier by not giving yourself a choice between a good homemade meal and some frozen junk but that by also having each meal planned out, you’re far less likely to go for takeout or buy less-than-healthy foods on impulse. The App makes dietary changes easier for you or your loved ones, as more and more people understand it’s the key to promoting health, preventing, treating and even reversing chronic medical conditions.

4. More than just another cooking tool. Food as medicine.

That’s not all! Scoodit goes even further than that – it helps establish a diet considering one’s medical condition. With millions of people worldwide suffering from obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and generally less-than-perfect health, the connection between how we feel and the food that we eat has never been more obvious. What we put at the end of our forks is more powerful medicine than anything found at the bottom of a pill bottle. Food is the most powerful medicine available to heal chronic diseases, which will, unfortunately, account for over 50mil deaths and cost the global economy $47 trillion by 2030. Scoodit helps you turn your grocery store into your pharmacy, transforming your health while eating your “medicine”.

5.  Know at all times which ingredients you have at home

Checking what you have in your fridge and pantry from anywhere you are is now just at a click away. If you can adjust your recipe to what you have, you can also buy by price, not necessity. You could, for example, take advantage of the fresh produce that’s in season or on sale. Planning your next meals has never been easier! After every Snap&Cook, the App automatically subtracts the used grocery products.

6. Create a shopping list from recipes you like that require more ingredients

So Scoodit has generated all the possible recipes you can make with the ingredients you have at hand? Create shopping lists with one tap. Apart from keeping a handy inventory, another useful feature is that after that, when scrolling even further down for recipes, the App shows what you could also make by adding up to 20 more items. Once you chose a recipe like that, it sends the items you still need to the shopping list. Also, once you buy them, they get automatically transferred to your ingredients list and you don’t even have to Snap them anymore. Consumers graze at the grocery store, with impulse buys making up between 50% and 70% of total purchase. With Scoodit, you spend significantly less money because of only buying what you need. If you don’t buy unhealthy items, you won’t have them around the house tempting you, and you will be more likely to stick with eating healthier options.
